Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS)

We host several Bible studies and various small groups over the course of the year in multiple locations including Jackson, Lodi, Valley Springs, and via Zoom. We usually run in 10-15 week chunks, going on hiatus around Christmas, Easter, and for a period during the summer (usually Memorial Day through Labor Day). However, our Sunday morning group typically continues to meet through the summer.

Just a brief word about the title of the Bible studies - "Soli Deo Gloria" (SDG) is a Latin phrase meaning "Glory to God alone." It's a powerful statement of Christian faith, emphasizing that all glory, honor, and praise are due to God. It is one of the "Solas" of the Reformation.

WEDNESDAY mornings @ 10 a.m. via Zoom
- Presently studying the book of Acts .
WEDNESDAY afternoons @ 12:15 p.m. at our Valley Springs campus & on Zoom.
- Presently studying the book of Leviticus.
Small group on 2nd & 4th THURSDAY evenings with dinner served at 5:30 p.m. and discussion starting around 6:15 p.m.

To join the studies–

In-person at our campus in Lodi: Bible studies are held in the Fireside Room. Park in the north parking lot (the smaller one) and enter the western most double doors (the ones with windows). The Fireside Room is the first room on the right.
In person at our campus in Valley Springs: Our campus in the foothills is at 225 CA-12, Valley Springs, CA 95252, just off of Highway 12. Enter the Fellowship Hall through the metal screen door.
