Our approach–

• We are dedicated in providing a Christian atmosphere where children can develop a positive self-image and learn to care about other people. Our curriculum emphasizes the truths of the Bible and reinforces parents as spiritual leaders while offering opportunities for creative expression, constructive play, social and emotional interaction, communication skills, physical development, practice in reasoning and responsibility.
   
• We believe the primary area in which learning takes place is through play, children learn by doing. Our center offers a "Hands On" approach to learning. This style of early children education is designed to foster creativity and expand self-expression. Self-esteem and individuality are nurtured while providing children with a sense of belonging and acceptance.
   
• We believe that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children. Parents are welcome in the classroom at all times.
   
• We believe that children need a safe, clean, healthy and stimulating environment in which to grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. By providing a healthy and safe environment and the tools children need, each child can build a solid foundation that will carry them through a lifetime of growing and learning.
   
• We believe in guiding children through their play, children will learn cognitive, language, physical and social skills. Children go through different stages of development. We believe it is important to look at the child's individual stage and to plan developmentally appropriate activities and help the child reach their full potential.

Admission process–

1. Fill out our registration form. (If we do not have an immediate opening, this will put your child on the waitlist).
2. As soon as we have availability we will reach out.
3. Come see what makes our center unique, schedule a tour of the facility by filling out the "Schedule Tour" form.
4. Decide this is the place for your child!
5. Pay registration fee of $100. 
6. Fill out enrollment forms.
7. Schedule your "intake" appointment. You will meet with a member of the administration where we will provide you access codes; go over policies and procedures, everything you need to bring for your child's first day and answer any questions you may have. 

We use a childcare management system called Playground to run our Center. In order to begin the admission process, you will be asked to create an account. If you would prefer to speak with a member of our staff before doing so, please contact the Childcare/Preschool Office at (209) 369-1910 or preschool@zlclodi.org. Ready to jump aboard?
